A little piece of Czech culture down in the basement of the Pagoda Tower in Seoul's busy business district. The microbrewery on the premises supports three lagers: Pilsner, Grannat and Dunkel

To get there, take Line 2 (green) of the underground to Gangnam station. Take exit six and walk 75 yards along to the Pagoda Tower, on the left.

A barn of a place with a Caspary brewery installation. Serving three (changing) German beers (Hefeweizen, Helles and Dunkles when we were there) plus a local Korean. Try the combi order for a sample. We were told Octoberfest would herald a new beer.

It serves food (western and asian) by a rather strange self-service ticketing system, and also has a music stage.
