Alan Hutton of Gennum sent this one in, for which many thanks, and this is what he has to say about it:

"Established in the foothills of Beaverton, Oregon back in 1990, the Oak Hills Brewery is quite unique. When most eating and drinking establishments value seating and tables as prime real estate, Oak Hills dedicate 40% of their location to beer keg storage and fermenters. Locally brewed beers include the signature Hammerhead ale which is very hoppy, the coal black Terminator stout, the IPA with its citrus flavour and the strangely named Bagdad ale which is recommended to be served in "hot weather". The Oak Hill churns out around 2000 kegs a year or around 250k (US) pints. Oak Hills also has the dubious distinction of producing one of the worst beers ever served ! Known as the Afterburner, it is a highly hopped ale infused with a high concentration of garlic. Not everyones best friend when it comes to drinking beer......Oak Hills is a WiFi hotspot but curiously they have a warning on the entrance to be 'considerate of other guests when using cells phones'. "

Oak Hills Brewpub's "Captain Neon's Fermentation Chamber" features one of the most colorful McMenamins brewery experiences, thanks to the beautifully painted fermentation tanks.'

This is the on-site description of the beers they brew:

Terminator Stout
Black as the darkest night. Rich as the most decadent dessert, Terminator is for the true stout lover. This is a full bodied and flavor packed ale which draws it's robust complexity from kiln-baked specialty grains. Look for a wide array of toasted, chocolate, nutty and coffee-like flavors in every pint! The devoted swear by it, and it remains one of our top selling ales year after year.

Hammerhead
A classic Northwest pale ale and McMenamins top selling beer. This rich chestnut colored gem is a model of harmony between hops and malted barley. Hammerhead's signature Cascade hop nose and intense hopped flavor blend nicely with the caramel tones from the crystal malt. This beer has a vocal following. To run out is an unforgivable sin.

Ruby
In 1985 McMenamins became the first brewery in the U.S.A. to legally use fruit in ales. While many other breweries have followed suit, we still make this Ruby exactly as we first did: Light, crisp and refreshingly fruity. Over 55 pounds of hand-macerated, fresh, whole raspberries are used in every batch. Taste the original!

Black Rabbit Porter
Black Rabbit Porter is a semi-sweet ale with a roasty chocolate malt tone. This ale is defined by it's toasted nut flavor and a sweeter, softer finish than Terminator. Named after the elusive Black Rabbit who roams freely on the grounds at the Edgefield Manor, this ale has been an Edgefield staple for years.

Edgefield Wheat
Edgefield Wheat is a classic example of an American wheat ale. Unlike the popular Northwest Hefeweizen, Edgefield Wheat is a bright, clear, clean tasting ale. The smooth flavor of wheat malt is highlighted and has become a favorite of light ale drinkers.
