The Ten Most Charismatic Semiconductor CEOs

The semiconductor industry has always required leaders, men who can bet the farm on a particular direction and have the company follow them. Some CEOs have done this by judgment, some by charisma and some by both. Here are the ten most charismatic:

Les Hogan

Bob Noyce

Pat Haggerty

Jerry Sanders

Charlie Sporck

Mark Shepherd

Pasquale Pistorio

Andy Grove

Tsuyoshi Kawanishi

Ulrich Schumacher

Peter B:

Interesting that so many of them are retired or departed. After 45 years in the industry, I also see and feel the initial spark fading. Semi-retired, I luckily do not need to find the next "big thing", but it must be harder for younger people in the industry.
