Continental Complexity

God, how the Continentals love complexity. A new European R&D project, called ENIAC is about to be approved by the EC authorities.

ENIAC is a sub-programme of three other programmes known by the acronyms: FP7 (Framework Programme 7), JTI (Joint Technology Initiative) and Eureka.

It has been financed by EUROSAINT.

ENIAC works alongside two other groups called the Public Authorities Mirror Group and the Strategic Regional Agenda Working Group with its six sub-groups.

It collaborates with another acronym called ARTEMIS. Once finally approved ENIAC’s funding will be done through AENEAS.

ENIAC will cover the same areas of R&D as another R&D programme called CATRENE, except that one is nationally funded, the other is funded by a mixture of national and EC funding.

It’s a bit like difference between two Kama Sutra positions which are otherwise identical, but in one of them you coo.
