Collapse Of Stout Party

How often do you get an answer to a question which starts off: 'It depends how you define xyz?'

A great put-down to those who practise this annoying response was delivered by TTPCom founder Dr Tony Milbourn at the recent Silicon South-West Wireless 2.0 Conference in Bristol.

Milbourn was chairing a panel session and spun out a question to a panellist, a local academic (who shall remain nameless).

The academic started replying with the dreaded: "It depends how you define. . . ."

Only to be cut off by Milbourn interjecting:

"I knew I shouldn't have asked a pedant."

Roar of laughter

Collapse of stout party.
