Moritz Pisses Off House Men

Mike Moritz, the Californian venture capitalist with Sequoia, who recently gave £25 million to his old Oxford College, Christ Church, seems to have risked upsetting fellow alumni of  'The House' as they like to call their alma mater.

Chatting in my local, earlier this week, to a former Christ Church guy, I mentioned  the Moritz donation.

"Tell me about", he groaned.

Apparently Christ Church has circulated all its graduates with the news of the Moritz donation, urging them to follow his example.

There goes the Gulfstream.
