Good Old America

It's amazing how America throws up the right guy at the right time.

In the IC business, Bob Noyce and Gordon Moore came along at exactly the right time to put the industry on an entrepreneurial path.

In the PC industry Bill Gates and Steve Jobs came along at exactly the right time to drive standards and pricing in the right direction.

And, this morning, just to have elected Barack Obama is enough to create the confidence that America will solve its problems and renew its idealism.
