FABLE: Even Geniuses Can Be Wrong

One day the greatest man in the semiconductor industry was asked a question by his wife. Should she invest in a start-up company in Cupertino.

 

The GMITSI ran the rule over the company and advised: "No".

 

An independent minded lady, the GMITSI's wife decided to ignore his advice and she went ahead and invested.

 

The Cupertino start-up company's name was Apple Computer.

fresher, please tell your girl-firend that I haven't a clue. But my feeling is that Asian execs are less open to outside influences and ideas than western execs who will employ consultants at the drop of a hat.
