Intel has unveiled some futuristic product concepts at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, California

Dispute Finder: Tells you when a news story or blog is contradicted by another story or blog. Intel's Robert Ennals reckons it could be extended to include a check on what people say.

Face recognition:  Puts a name to a face which you can't quite recall.

Tour guide: A mobile device which can recognise its surroundings would help you out in unfamiliar places.

Gentle robots: Using a technique called electrolocation, Intel has developed a mechanical hand with a 'nervous system' allowing it to pick up delicate objects without damaging them

A poster at the Intel display in the museum reads: "Your kid's kid's kid won't think what we're doing is crazy at all."
