BUPA? I dont think BUPA will be known to 10 persons outside UK, how come it is in the top 10 list. The list seems ingenuine.
Is this the most well respected or the best known? If just best known, then it might just explain the London Stock Exchange.

I'd love to know on what basis this was compiled. What about McDonald's? And Coca-Cola?
Best known, Dick
I believe that no so long ago, Coca Cola and McDonald's were the most recognisable brands on the planet. I can't see BUPA cracking into that statistic quite frankly, regardless of this nonsense report!
For sure no one here in the USA has heard of BUPA. Until I googled it, I thought it might be an Indian chemical outfit.
Very surprised that Toyota did not make the list. Also Coca-Cola, IBM, Apple, etc. All in all, this list strikes me as "unreliable."
Dread, Peter, Dick - I'm beginnig to think this 'Centre for Brand Analysis' have drawn up a pretty flaky list here. Sorry for putting it in a Wednesday top ten. It won't happen again.
