My iPhone App (Update 3)

My iPhone App is done and dusted and sent to Apple for approval. The last bit was the worst.

Steve, who did the programming, had a Lost Weekend trying to upload it to Apple.

His diary reads:

FRIDAY: 'I think I will upload our perfectly running App. Filled all the details in. Chose 12+ rating. Bank details. Tried to upload the file and it would have nothing to do with it. "Not signed or certificated", it said.

'Found relevant documentation. Worked through step by step getting certificates, dragging dropping, opening, closing. Some bits just not clear. Still not clear. Entered what I thought was right, then it said "GO"

'So I ran the app and it would not work AT ALL!'

SATURDAY, SUNDAY, MONDAY: 'It stayed like this (showing me a message which was obviously not correct) for 3 bloody days as I tried everything.'

TUESDAY: 'Today at 4.30 I decided to have another go and after searching on Google for my error message found the answer: It's like having a television not working and the way to fix it is to change a fuse in your toaster.'

'So that was brilliant and off I went again with more trial and error, and obscure messages. Something has gone to Apple for review. God knows what state it is in.'

So there we are. The thing is done. The die is cast. If Apple approves it, then a lifestyle revolution for the technological classes is on the way.

You'll be the first to know.
