It's been a difficult few months for Ed since November's IPO - his wife ran off with the ex-CTO taking with her a hefty chunk if Ed's newly acquired fortune, not to mention half the value of the marital home - and diary entries have been sparse and painful.
However, a new diary reveals that Ed is back in the semiconductor business - though in a rather discreditable role.
Ed's second tranche of diaries start on Monday February 21st at 3pm.

Looking forward, like many others, to the second part of the Ed saga. Any plans to make this a trilogy ?
so he's either a consultant or a VC ?????
Woo hoo! Go, Ed!
I shiver in Frank-N-Furter-esque "anticiiiii...pation!" at seeing how much more discreditable Edward can get. He doesn't become a sector analyst for GS does he?
(I hope that guess hasn't let the cat out of the bag; though if it has I guess you just don't click the approve button.)
I'm afraid it's much more discreditable than working for GS, The Baron, and rest assured - the Approve button is on permanent click for you.
More discreditable than GS? Surely he is not working for the government?!?
Hurrah ! I knew the ol' scallywag wouldn't be away for long. One day you must tell us how you become privy to his weekly jottings.
Sceppers
Thanks for that, Sceppers, one day, maybe (it's a dark and tortuous tale - not fit for all ears).
Far, far more discreditable than that, George.
He must have become a Journalist! ;-).
Looking forward to more.
Bit below the belt, Locknut, but no, far, far, far worse than being a journalist. And thanks for the encouragement
No, Mike, far, far, far , far worse than either of those
MP or MEP ? Surely it can't be worse than that ...
Well it is, Fred, much, much worse
