Site searching revamped - Zibb on Demand arrives!

Check out our new and improved search facility, Zibb on Demand - the user interface is newly revamped and the behind-the-scenes search algorithms have been improved. If you haven't been using the site search, definitely give it a try!

Specialised to target online electronics industry data, it finds related content from across industry sites as well as ElectronicsWeekly.com, the better to find a more targeted result.

With the types of content clearly marked by individual tabs, you just have to click once to switch between views of all online electronics data and the search data specifically from ElectronicsWeekly.com.

Yes, it means we are potentially linking out to rival sites, but the emphasis is on a better search, rather than trying to lock you into the site, as it were. A better user experience, providing the most meaningful data sets, will always benefit EW.com in the long run. That's our view.

The search result pages themselves have also been improved, with a much clearer and informative grouping of result meta-data. Try it out for yourself, any feedback is welcome - simply leave a comment on this post.
