Twittering industry news to mobiles

twitter%20logo.png

Would you be interested in getting the latest news form the electronics industry direct to your mobile phone, for free? Specifically, news headlines from Electronics Weekly, as they are published, along with a URL to follow to get the full spiel on stories of interest.

I'm currently investigating Twitter - see http://twitter.com/ for more details of this mobile networking site - and would like to gauge interest. Please leave a comment if you are interested in EW in mobile form, and twitter in particular.

Speaking of which, I may be teaching my grandmother to suck eggs, but are you aware of the optimised-for-mobiles website mobile.google.com? If you visit this site on your handheld, Google will optimise the subsequent sites you visit for mobile display, including electronicsweekly.com. Think of it as a very convenient portal for getting a mobile-friendly version of websites in your hand.

Anyroad, any interest in twitter out there? Perhaps you are already using it? Sing up
