Apple unveils iPhone 3GS

Last night at Apple's Worldwide Developer Conference the company, as expected, announced the iPhone 3GS.

The S stands for speed, by the way. Err, okay...

Apple claims everything about the phone - from browsing to app loading is at least two-times as fast.

While the exterior is unchanged, there are a number of new features:
  • A three megapixel camera with autofocus
  • 30fps VGA with audio
  • Voice control for dialling and for music
  • Nike+ support added
  • Battery life improved (12 hours of 2G talk time or five hours of 3G talk time; nine hours' use on Wi-Fi; 10 watching video; or 30 hours of audio playback, reports Macuser).

UK availability? Within a week and a half apparently, but the price has yet to be confimred.
