Google's work with its Android mobile platform is bearing new fruit, in the shape of the Snapdragon-based Nexus One.The launch of Google's first own branded phone - self styled a "super-phone" - is married with the launch of its web store, for purchasing aforesaid telephone. "The goal of Google's new consumer channel is to provide an efficient way to connect Google's online users with selected Android phones," states company. "The online experience of the web store has been designed with a focus on simplicity."
Note that the Nexus One is open - any GSM network SIM card can be used with the device.
