Electroon #2 - "In aeronautics, Britain leads the world"

Electroon #1Welcome to the second instalment of a new series - a look at the Electroon series of cartoons that graced Electronics Weekly for many years, starting with its very first issue back in September 1960.

As previously mentioned, there are no promises on the level of humour. And once again I am not sure about the meaning of this one. Is it a bald statement? Or ironic? Leave your thoughts in the Comment box below.
