Why do engineers dislike twitter?

There's a new poll on the site - see the homepage - that asks What does twitter mean to you? (This was provoked by Richard Wilson's article Why do engineers have a downer on twitter?)

We are taking your temperature of affection for twitter, the micro-blogging system. It may be good for Stephen Fry but can it serve a serious business purpose for electronics professionals?

Have your say, and take part in the poll.
