Electronics Weekly keeps its Eyes on Android

Eyes on Android.jpgWe are pleased to announce another new blog, in the growing portfolio of blogs on Electronics Weekly - Eyes on Android.

As its title suggests, it is all about keeping up with developments related to Android, the relatively new mobile platform developed by Google.

According to latest figures from Gartner it already has a 38% share of the smartphone market, and we hope the topic will be of interest to you.

As well as bringing together all our coverage of Android-related news, there will be details of announcements from Google itself and highlights of coverage from around the Web.

We hope the blog will become a useful point for reference and a blog 'of record' for hardware and software developments. For example, a couple of videos document the interfaces of Froyo (v2.2) and Honeycomb (v3.0) devices.

Latest posts include:

Video: Honeycomb 3.0 and a Motorola Xoom review

Atmel ARM9 products support Android OS

Samsung takes its tablets with Android

Android and user data leaks on Wi-Fi
