Monkeys, Mistakes, and Making Better Stuff

Highly evolved engineers know it's always better to learn from somebody else's mistakes. Electronics Weekly's new Made by Monkeys Blog aims at helping you avoid bungling your own designs. But we won't just focus on what went wrong. We'll talk about what the monkeys that made this stuff could have done -- should have done-- to make their products better by:

  • Reporting on the onslaught of cheaply made, lousy stuff being made today with an in-depth look at specific products, bad trade-offs made, and avoidable defects
  • Going behind-the-scenes to report on product failures making headline news
  • Presenting some of the most famous (and infamous) cases of good intentions and bad execution
  • Publishing contributions and insights from the design engineering community. Find out how to submit your stories.
