I can't believe someone makes... Rubik's Cube Calendars

rubiks calendar.jpgI really can't believe someone makes a Rubik's Cube Calendar. But of course they do, or this post would be very empty... Twist it and turn it and form today's date, which you already know, so you won't forget it...

In my case, it would be like trying to paint the Forth Bridge - by the time I had worked the horrible plastic thing into the correct alignment, it would be time to start again for tomorrow's date.

In theory, you can buy them from Etsy.com for $23, but they are again sold out (as most items in this series tend to be)... This tells me something - that they would make a good present for someone you don't like!

Thanks to GeekSugar for this one.

PS. On a Rubik's theme, btw check out the similarly styled alarm clock and card reader (which is at least practical!)

PPS. Did you know that Erno Rubik, who apparently worked at the Department of Interior Design at the Academy of Applied Arts and Crafts in Budapest, invented the cube as a teaching tool to help his students understand 3D objects. So says WIkipedia.

This time, I can't believe someone makes Wi-Fi detector baseball caps. Where to begin? How about with the fact that you can't see the signal strength indicator up on your own bunce... you'd have to take it off to look at it in your hand. Doh! [Read More]
