Truly Awful Road Signs [Part 2]

sardinian road sign 1 300.jpgAfter Unhelpful Road Signs [Part 1], from the USA - see Road Sign Design by Committee aka Faulty Directions - here is Part 2, from Sardinia.

Thanks to our Italian reader, Massimiliano Vessi, for capturing this truly confusing road sign, in an Industrial Zone in Sardinia. Imagine trying to pick the information out of this while driving along.

He writes:
I had to break violently to stop and realize where to go at the next crossing. The most stupid thing is that almost all directions are to the left, and just 4 directions are to go straight on!!
You have to imagine that is the only street to the Industrial Zone and it is very small, so it's full with buses, cars and pick-ups; they all very displeased to encounter a stopped car trying to understand where to go.
Special thanks to Massimiliano for stopping longer to take the picture, because a stationary car is very unpopular:
If you want to learn Italian bad words, go there and stop your car...
Any other truly awful road signs out there? Share them with fellow readers - email webmaster@electronicsweekly.com, or leave a comment below.
