It's good to start the week with a bit of Trompe-l'oeil - here's a contender for the Impossible Object category. It's a piece by Leandro Erlich called Shattering Door.

Thanks to Teche Blog for flagging this one, which it says is currently on display at the Luciana Brito gallery in Sao Paulo.

Leandro Erlich's website is well worth checking out, by the way. I spy a few more impossible objects!
