I can't believe someone makes... 12V Heated Pizza Takeaway Bags

Thanks to reader Mike Read for proposing this one for our I can't believe... series. Keep 'em coming.

There's a bit of a Pizza theme emerging on Made By Monkeys, what with ovens, and cutters. And now we have heated bags...

Of course, while it conjures up images of Pizza lovers who will go that extra mile - on foot if necessary - to keep their pizzas warm, it must be aimed at the retail market (though this is Maplins we are talking about).

Features include:

Keeps your pizza takeaways warm in the car!
Heated by direct connection to your car cigarette socket
Takes two or three 12 inch pizza boxes (depending on size)
Convenient carry handles on front and back of bag
1.2m cigarette power cord stores in side pocket
Hook and loop fastening flap keeps your takeaway secure
Clear pocket on front for delivery notes
Heats up to 145.5°F/63.1°C

Err - what's wrong with that ? Actually I can't think why no-one developed it before. Indian takeaways round my way have been using 12V cool/hot boxes for years.

You're right, JS, of course, there must be some demand for them. It's just the idea of carrying a 12V heated bag, for pizza purposes, can seem slightly absurd. The things we do for our fast food...
