I can't believe someone makes... YouTube microwaves

Cast Oven video microwave.jpgJust because you can, doesn't mean you should... I can't believe someone really needs to catch up on the latest "viral video" while cooking an egg.

It's not a typical scenario in my kitchen. I'd rather watch the food through the panel...

Cast Oven are apparently the people behind the consumer gadget that should be placed next to the Internet toaster and the Wi-Fi Fridge.

Of course, it is a proof of concept model rather than a full commercial concern, at least judging by its two awards: A "Jury's special award" and "Best Demonstration (workshop on interactive system and software)" in the Mashup Awards 5.

According to Craziest Gadgets:
Instead of clear window, there's an LCD screen. When you punch in the amount of time to cook the food, the microwave connects to the internet and streams a video clip from YouTube of the exact same length.
So you don't even choose the videos?

Check out a video of the product.
