Impossible objects #22: The foetal bed

foetal bed 2.jpgI like this one. For a good night's sleep, adopting the foetal position is compulsory for this bed. Designed by the artist Mauro Giaconi, it's not the only impossible design...

Check out this weird, wonderful and unusual collection from Weburbanist.com. For example, if the foetal one is too small and curled. How about the more stretching - but equally immobile 'star' bed (pictured below). Any takers?
