Build your own Interactive Multitouch Display

Now, we would hate for you to think that we are easily impressed.

But we are.

If you haven't got the £5,000 to buy your very own Microsoft Surface, just follow the lead of 'Turkey Tek' and build your own.

Thanks to the Instructables tome of knowledge, Gadget Freak brings to you the home-made Interactive Multitouch Display. Using parts any self-respecting electrical engineer probably has lying around the house anyway, the Interactive Multitouch Display is made up of a projector, a modified webcam and a home-made acrylic whiteboard, among other bits and pieces.

Watch the video and sit in awed admiration or stew in rampant jealousy. If nothing else, it includes some trippy electronic music which is what you need just before the weekend.
