Say hello to the no EMI and no battery night light saver.
The night light saver can be attached to a lamp in your very own home. It uses a 2051 chip and a small triac. The night light saver is a very easy-to-install, inexpensive device that will help you save energy in the home, and in these climate change-aware times, that’s a good thing.
This cool gadget was found on Wichit Sirchote’s Build Your Own Microcontroller Projects site. Loyal Gadget Freak readers will recognise Sirchote as the inventor who created the electronic distance meter that could be attached to a bicycle, which we had previously featured in Gadget Freak.

I have been looking for something like this to replace those ugly plastic punch lights.
