How to build your own MacMini Portable

What do you do when Apple doesn’t make a tablet palmtop? That’s easy. Just follow Peter Green’s lead and make one for them.

The MacMini Portable built by this Gadget Freak includes and Intel Core Solo 1.5Ghz processor, 60GB hard drive and 512 RAM.

“The MMP MkIII is the lightest Macintosh portable ever made at just 1.9kg including batteries. This ‘UMPC’ has a three hour battery life, integrated 8” touchscreen tablet with hand writing recognition supported by Ink, full Bluetooth, full SPDIF audio in/out and Front Row capabilities, on screen touch keyboard – no [external] keyboard required,” Peter said.
