Beauty in eye of the beep holder

A couple from Sydney, Australia has found a creative way to give all those old circuit boards a new lease of life.

Jan and Alison Schutt are among a growing number of artists worldwide who use old, discarded electronic components to create works of art.

While most circuit boards that make appearances in consumers’ homes are green, the boards can be white or yellow before resistors are attached.

The Schutts’ work has appeared in feature films and even in Australia’s 2007 Big Brother series.
