Competition - Win a Solio solar-powered universal device charger

solio classic.jpgUPDATED: competition now closed.

Gadgets aren't always the greenest of devices but the prize for this month's Gadget Freak competition helps change that - a solar-powered device charger...

The prizes in the past have been a wind-up radio, an iPod shuffle, and an LED Jellyfish Mood Lamp.

For September, the prize to win is a solar-powered Solio Classic (black), described as a Hybrid device because it can take power from either the sun or the wall, storing the energy in its internal rechargeable battery.

Solio Classic

"Solio, the Universal 'Hybrid' Charger, is powerful enough to charge all of your handheld electronic products at home or on the move, anywhere under the sun", boasts the company.

Solio is described as a Hybrid because it can take power from either the sun or the wall storing the energy within Solio's internal rechargeable battery. According to the company:

    * A fully charged Solio Classic will charge a typical mobile phone more than twice or give over 20 hours of iPod music.

    * Just 1 hour of sunshine = 20 minutes talk time or 50 minutes of MP3 music.

The prize question

Correctly answer this question for a chance of winning.

Our recent Antiques Roadshow post featured seven gadgets with a retro feel. Which one of the seven highlighted posts makes reference to "Lord of the Rings"?

Once you know the correct response, just email competition@electronicsweekly.com with the title of the post.

The competition closes Friday 10 October 2008. You can view the Terms and Conditions.

Good luck!
