Continuing the biking theme, check out the ErockIT, the invention of Stefan Gulas. Half push bike, half motorbike, all electric. It can go at speeds of up to 50 miles per hour (80km/h).
He describes it as "a new kind of highly emotional electric motorcycle".
There are petrol-engine powered bicycles out there, but this is greener. You peddle to increase acceleration (there is no accelerator on the handles).
"The quicker you peddle, the quicker the motor goes," says Stefan.
If you want to buy it, though, it's not cheap. It will cost you 30,000 euros.

Sorry Rob that was all we had. For some more "meat" on the electronics for such vehicles I've added a link to a detailed article we did on Kingston University's 102mph electric bike, which was enetered for the all-electric TTXGP race on the Isle of Man.
