iPhone to reach UK in November

One of the most hyped products in recent years, the Apple iPhone, is set to reach British shores in November.

This week Apple head honcho Steve Jobs confirmed UK customers will be able to get their hands on the device that contains everything but the kitchen sink.

Speaking to the media at the so-hospital-white-and-clean-it's-almost-scary Apple store in the heart of London, Jobs said the iPhone would be on sale for a paltry £269, plus the costs associated with a contract.

Given the crowds lining up for the iPhone's debut in the States earlier this year, and the marketing surrounding the different iPod re-inventions over the past few years, it's clear hype is something Apple does well.

The actual reliability of Apple's products leaves a lot to be desired for this blogger. Having gone through three iPods (with no supernatural or impossible requests defying the laws of nature and man placed upon it. Just the thought of a portable music player that doesn't kick the bucket after the battery runs out is nice.) in the space of six months this year, I wonder if more than customer will do this to their iPhone in the near future ...
