Sony Bluetooth headphones competition

Sony DR-BT22IK Bluetooth iPod Headphones 2.jpgTime for a new Gadget Master competition, the first of 2009 and the first prize to be kindly sponsored by Digi-Key. It's the turn of Bluetooth technology...

Up for grabs is a pair of iPod compatible Bluetooth stereo headphones from Sony - the snappily titled "DR-BT22IK Bluetooth iPod Headphones".

If you're like me and hate having to untangle the wires on your earpieces, wireless comms could soon be coming to your rescue.

Note that prizes for past competitions have been a Cool Stuff Exploded book, a wind-up radio, an iPod shuffle, and an LED Jellyfish Mood Lamp.

Sony DR-BT22IK Bluetooth iPod Headphones

These would set you back £52 on Amazon, and Sony describes them as the way to "enjoy hands free iPod listening and control with this Bluetooth headset and transmitter with remote operation function."

Features of the headphones include:
  • Stream music wirelessly from your iPod in your bag or pocket
  • Adjust volume, play / pause and skip tracks from the headset
  • Headset and transmitter have been pre-paired for easy connection and use
  • Lightweight, comfortable fit
  • Transmitter power supplied from iPod, so no additional battery or charging is needed
  • 11 hours continuous playback time
  • Fully charged in approx. 3 hours
You can read the Technical Specifications of the headphones.

The prize question

We'll keep the format familiar and straightforward: correctly answer this question for a chance of winning.

Our recent Ringing in the New Year post featured seven blog posts related to telephones. Which post had a picture of a phone gathering dust?

Once you know the correct response, just email competition@electronicsweekly.com with the title of the post.

The competition closes Friday 13th February (lucky for someone). You can view the Terms and Conditions.

Good luck!
