Is this how Daleks could climb up stairs?

Building a robot would drive most people up the wall, but an experienced iRobot engineer drives robots to go up stairs...

Check out this video showing the product of an iRobot engineer, completed for his Masters thesis. The design challenge was to efficiently climb up and down full-height stairs.

Is this how Daleks could climb up stairs?

For more about iRobot, check out their YouTube channel, a real robotics resource. iRobot was founded in 1990 by "some geeks" from the AI lab at MIT. Their self-declared mission is "to build cool stuff, have fun and change the world. Add in making money and delivering great product and you've got the foundation on which we're built".

Thanks to Engadget for this one.

Daleks don't climb stairs. If there's something/one they want on the seventh floor, they blast away the first to the sixth!

Like it. Yes, their social graces are somewhat lacking, Graham!
