Tesla Coil night light

Check out this home made Tesla Coil night light. Mini fluorescent lamps need not go to waste, even if the system makes enough noise to keep you awake.

The YouTube poster, brazilero2008, writes:
This is a quick way to re-purpose a mediocre, low power Tesla Coil that's just collecting dust on your project shelf. Place mini fluorescent lamps supported by a cardboard disk around the torus to create an interesting night light.
And those ghostly light beams appearing to shoot out from the tips of the lamps? No, they are not "Tesla Death Rays" just reflections from the camera lens. But, that doesn't reduce the coolness factor ! : )
Thanks to Techeblog for flagging this one.
