MacBook Air teardown

MacBook air teardown.jpgWe like teardowns on Gadget Master, getting to the hardware heart of the matter, as it were. See for example teardowns of a Sony VAIO Z Series laptop or a NiMH battery charger...

Well, check out this teardown, on iFixIt.com, of the ultra-slim MacBook Air laptop. It's the Model A1370, 11.6" version, to be precise.

Careful how you go, however, if you were ever tempted to repeat the process! Things aren't easy to get to - there are 19 steps and the team at FixIt give the AirBook a "Repairability" score of just 4 out of 10.
