Future Electronics has revealed more details of its two interactive "My-TechnologyAuthority" tutorials at Electronics Weekly Live for motor control technology.

These 'live' interactive tutorials will help OEM design engineers gain insight into the functionality of the Future-BLOX systems as well as the devices of two BLOX systems:
•    3-phase BLDC (up to 1KW) in closed or open loop control mode under dynamic load using Fairchild technology.
•    3-phase ACI (up to 1KW) in open and closed loop control mode using International Rectifier technology.

The two available motor control sessions, taking place on each day of the show will offer the following:
1.    Demonstration of the control and management software running on a Future-designed DSC board based on Freescale technology in conjunction with the Freemaster PC software tool.
2.    Discussion of the features and benefits of the BLOX development tools
3.    Guidance towards applying the technology to customise systems for any given motor setup

The motor control tutorial schedule is as follows:

Tuesday 16th June 2009:    13:30 to 14:15 and 14:45 to 15:30

Wednesday 17th June 2009:    10:00 to 11:00 and 11:15 to 12:00

Thursday 18th June 2009:    13:30 to 14:15

Each session lasts 45 minutes and is limited to 10 engineers who will receive a workshop pack, certificate and voucher for their own Future BLOX Board.

Pre-registration is recommended and can be completed at www.my-boardclub.com/ewlive.htm
