Vicor running free 'Power Clinics'

VicorLogo small.jpgCourtesy of Vicor, expert advice covering every stage of product development and all aspects of power design will be freely availble at National Electronics Week / EW Live 2009.

Vicor is offering engineers the opportunity to visit their free 'Power Clinic' which will run throughout the show on their stand H49. Engineers from the company will be on hand to answer questions about specific power supply design challenges.

Visitors to the stand can also pick up their free technical training video on an interactive PowerTechtorial CD and find out the latest news on what the company desribes as a space-saving break-through in bus conversion.

"New 28V DC-DC converters, and on-stand demonstrations of the latest power modules, will show how Vicor are continuing to push the boundaries of power design, and combining mass customization for a wide range of applications," writes the company.
Presenting future trends in power design, the Vicor seminar on the 'Evolution of Power Supply Architectures', will outline common power distribution architectures and discuss the advances in efficiency, flexibility and performance created by the FPA (Factorized Power Architecture) in V.I Chip modules.
