The Keys To Happiness

“It’s so easy to doubt yourself, and it’s especially easy to doubt yourself when what you’re working on is at odds with everyone else in the world who thinks they know the right way to do things,” writes Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak in his book iWoz.

“But if you believe in your own power to objectively reason, that’s a key to happiness. And a key to confidence,” adds Wozniak.

“Another key I found to happiness was to realise I didn’t have to disagree with someone and let it get all intense,” says Wozniak, “if you believe in your own power to reason, you can just relax.”

  1. Hmmm, I’m not so sure about that first bit. Oh, it’s fine if you have a good evangelist to preach your independent thinking, otherwise you could be just pissing into the wind and in the words of Gene Woolsey, “you get wet, you smell bad and people shun you”.
