Advanced Power Components has received a big component order from Amplifier Technology, part of Wessex Technology Group.
Part of a project developing electronic surveillance and counter measure subsystems, the distributor anticipates that this will be the first of several contracts to be awarded as the technology is rolled out.
Orders in the last six months for components used in this type of application have totalled more than $1,000,000.
APC is benefiting from the acquisition of Novacom Microwave in April 2008.
