Plus Opto goes Blue Chip for embedded display systems

Plus Opto is working with computer board firm Blue Chip Technology in a new co-ordinated approach to the embedded display system market.

Plus Opto's TFT LCD lines will be combined with Blue Chip's embedded computers in the RE1 Base range of RISC boards and displays.

The deal recognises that designers still have issues when integrating display systems with embedded computers, which many distributors now address.

It also identifies business opportunties in the HMI market.

We need to offer our customers a complete solution - an affordable, quality range of displays and the engine to drive them," said Chris Parr, Plus Opto sales manager, pictured with Lisa Walker, Blue Chip Technology marketing manager.
