Avnet Memec has signed a pan-European distribution agreement with Connect One, the supplier of chips and modules which IP-enable devices for M2M LAN and wireless applications.
According to Ariel Shulman, v-p sales for Connect One, an important aspect of the deal were Avnet Memec's complementary product lines like Marvell and Wi2Wi.
"This will allow customers to source their entire M2M communication needs from one distributor. Customers will be able to launch products quickly with our modules and easily move to lower-cost chip-based PCB designs as quantities increase," said Shulman.
Avnet Memec has also launched an American agreement with Connect One.
