Anglia wows Intersil with flying start in UK

Intersil is very impressed with its newest UK distributor, Anglia.


Just six months in and Wisbech-based Anglia has secured important design wins and so picked up Intersil's 'Best Distribution Partner' award for Europe in 2009.

"Our goal in appointing Anglia was to add more and deeper technical expertise to our network, and their performance in the first months of our relationship has fully justified their appointment," said Peter Schubert, director of sales, distribution & horizontal, Europe, at Intersil.

 

"They have already secured several design-ins with customers that are new to Intersil. In one case, they secured the first design-win globally for a new line of Intersil products," said Schubert

 

Anglia CEO, Steve Rawlins said he appreciated the very strong commitment that the chip firm had made to get the relationship of to a strong start.

 

"Joel Munday and the team are to be congratulated on their hard work, effort and enthusiasm," said Rawlins.
