EBV Elektronik has taken on a new LED product line to address the lighting market in Europe.
It will distribute the Everlight product line in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
To date its LED lighting business is based on the Osram and Avago franchises.
"This is an important step to expand our business into new regions and emerging market segments", said Stephan Greiner, v-p global sales at Everlight Electronics.
The Everlight portfolio includes high power LEDs, lamps, SMD LEDs and infrared products.
Target markets are general lighting, entertainment, automotive, architectural, industrial and commercial lighting.
