Infineon Technologies and Fairchild Semiconductor have settled a legal row in the US over patents concerning power transistors and mosfets.
The patents in the suit and counter suit consisted of fourteen patents related to super-junction power transistors along with trench power mosfets and IGBT power transistors.

Infineon said it was also in patent licensing discussions with a number of other semiconductor companies.

The lawsuit, which dates back to November 2008, has been settled through a patent cross licence between the companies.
