Wolfson Microelectronics has signed a worldwide distribution deal with Premier Farnell.

As part of the agreement, Edinburgh-based Wolfson will present new product information through the distributor's online design community called element14.

According to David Shen, head of eCommerce and technical marketing at Premier Farnell, the agreement will enable the distributor to attract new design engineering customers.

"Mixed signal technologies are becoming significantly more pervasive in a much wider range of applications. Combining voice signals, music and other, multiple concurrent use cases is becoming much more complex and requires innovative solutions to deliver differentiating consumer experiences," said Andrew Bickley, sales director, Wolfson Microelectronics.
