M&S sells British netbook

If you want to buy a British-designed netbook go along to Marks & Spencer.

The high street retailer has partnered with UK firm Elonex on the design and manufacture of a £280 netbook.

The netbook, dubbed MSNB-2009, has a 10-inch screen and is powered by an Intel Atom processor.

On the inside is a typical technical spec for an Atom netbook with 1Gbyte of RAM, 160Gbyte hard drive and a six hour battery life.

On the outside M&S has had a hand in the design which comes in three colours - midnight navy, shocking pink and jet black.

Elonex also has an ebook which was sold through Borders. I wonder if M&S is interested in going into the e-reader market as well?
