ZF Electronics has appointed Mark Mills as distribution manager for all its Cherry brand products.

Mills will be responsible for sales drive which it is hoped will double current turnover over the next three years.

One of the plans is to introduce a number of strategic new products. Mills will also look at the distribution network.

"We are also broadening our distribution network and expanding partnering initiatives," said Mills.

Based at ZF Electronics office in Luton, Mills will also manage key accounts such as RS Components in Europe.

Mills joined ZF Electronics (formerly Cherry Electrical Products) in 2006 as area sales manager.

He previously worked with Arrow Electronics.
