Avnet teams with ARM for embedded design seminars

Avnet Electronics Marketing is addressing the issues for design of ARM processor-based systems in a series of technical seminars co-sponsored by ARM which come to the UK in the summer.

EBV will host a seminar in Reading on April 14, Avnet Memec with host a seminar in Birmingham on May 19 and Silica will run two Cambrdge seminars on June 7 and 8.

The Design Strategies for ARM Systems seminars will be free and will include exhibits from Atmel, Cypress, Freescale Semiconductor, Marvell, National Semiconductor, STMicroelectronics, Texas Instruments and Xilinx.

According to Gary Atkinson, director, embedded segment, ARM, the seminars will allow ARM partner suppliers to showcase their technology and provide in-depth training.
